SUMMARY : Jake "Tiger" Sharp was sentenced to ten years in prison for taking justice into his own hands. Upon his release, the former Atlanta police officer reunites with his comrade Jerry, who gives him a SPAS-12 rifle, a devastating weapon of war. Determined to get revenge on the crooked prosecutor who had him convicted, Jake chooses to lay down his weapons. He retreats to the family cabin in the Appalachians, hoping to live out his days in peace. But he soon finds himself confronted by a band of dangerous poachers and the unexpected return of his past...

ABOUT THE FILM : Shot shortly after the success of Rambo (1982) by Lamberto Bava (House of Terror, Demons), Blastfighter is an action film that explores the theme of the lone hero forced to face dangerous adversaries. It stars Michael Sopkiw (2019: After the Fall of New York), George Eastman (Baba Yaga, Emmanuelle et Françoise) and Valentina Forte (Amazonia: The White Jungle), not to mention director Michele Soavi (The Sect, Sanctuary) in a supporting role.
