SUMMARY : A Los Angeles-based horror writer returns to his hometown. While paying his respects at two graves in the cemetery, he remembers... Willowpoint Falls, 1962. Victim of a Halloween prank, nine-year-old Frankie Scarlatti, an aspiring writer, finds himself locked in his classroom locker room after school. During the night, a little girl, Melissa Montgomery, appears to him, whose murder from ten years earlier he relives. Shortly after, returning to the scene of the crime to find a compromising clue, the killer attacks the boy, leaving him for dead. While the school janitor, a Black man, is falsely accused of the murders, Frankie, with the help of his older brother Geno, will uncover the truth.
ABOUT THE FILM : Directed in 1988 by Frank Laloggia (Fear No Evil), Lady in White is inspired by the famous legend of the white lady. This ghost story offers the young Lucas Haas (Witness, Inception), then aged twelve, a very beautiful role. He is here alongside Katherine Helmond (Brazil) and Alex Rocco (The Emprise). Lady in White remained until now a little-known film in France, despite having won the Grand Prix at the Festival de l'Imaginaire de Clermont-Ferrand in 1988. The Blu-ray release of Lady in White is therefore an opportunity to (re)discover a forgotten gem of fantasy cinema.
