SUMMARY : Cosmo, a video store employee in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles, discovers that one of the rentals in the store—a sci-fi film called Remote Control—is causing murderous urges in anyone who watches it. With the help of his friend Georgie, Cosmo investigates and uncovers a conspiracy of alien origin.

ABOUT THE FILM : By revisiting one of the favorite themes of science fiction (the invasion of Earth by aliens), Jeff Lieberman (Blue Sunshine, Survival) pays homage, with VHS Murders, to both the sci-fi films of the 1950s and the spirit of the 1980s. Note the presence of Kevin Dillon (Platoon), Deborah Goodrich (The Weekend of Terror), as well as Jennifer Tilly (Bound, Bride of Chucky) in this fantasy comedy which has not been seen in France since its distribution... on VHS!
