SUMMARY : Astronauts discover a new planet and decide to colonize it. After many years, the last survivor of the original crew, nicknamed "The Old Man," is worshipped as a demigod by the descendants born on this planet. Before dying, he sends a video message to Earth using a rocket. Marek, who receives this message, embarks on a journey to the planet, where he is welcomed as a Messiah.

ABOUT THE FILM : Director, screenwriter and writer, Andrzej Zulawski (1940-2016) is best known to the general public for The Important Thing is to Love, Possession and Love at the Point.
On the Silver Globe (1976-1977) - Andrzej Zulawski spent two years realizing this crazy project of making the greatest Polish science fiction film by adapting the eponymous novel by his great-uncle, Jerzy Zulawski, published in 1903.
