SUMMARY : Manchuria, 1903 – During an expedition to Tibet, paleontologist Alexander Saxton discovered the body of a hominid, preserved in ice for two million years. Saxton decides to repatriate it to London, in a crate, via the Trans-Siberian Railway. There, he meets an old acquaintance: Dr. Wells, a biologist. Saxton's mysterious discovery seems to interest several passengers on the train. But things get complicated when inexplicable murders occur. Wells then discovers that the victims' brains have been drained of their substance...
