SUMMARY : Five years have passed since Terrence "Terry" Chandler and his friend Glen accidentally opened the "fissure" that released demonic forces. Since then, Glen and his family have moved away. As for Terry, his mother has died and his father has sunk into alcoholism. Inconsolable, the young man feels increasingly drawn to the evil portal and the powers it contains. He then goes to Glen's old, abandoned house, soon joined by three other teenagers. The quartet then begins a ritual to summon a demon.

ABOUT THE FILM : Three years after directing the first film (The Gate), Tibor Takàcs directs a sequel in which the hero is no longer Glen but Terry. While taking up ideas from the previous film, Takàcs nevertheless signs a darker work, confronting Terry, not only with demonic creatures, but also with his own inner demons (alcoholism, depression, suicide…). In addition to Louis Tripp, who reprises his role, the cast also includes James Villemaire (Panic on Florida Beach), James Kidnie (Curtains) and Elva Mai Hoover (Class of 1984).
